Drop In rowing is for anyone with serious time constraints who still wants to train, grow, and row with us!
Join Us for a six-week course, where we will teach you the ins and outs of rowing on the Genesee River. Our experienced and dedicated coaching staff will help you build a firm foundation in training, technique, and teamwork to prepare you for your next move in rowing. Our practices run for 2 hours in the evening on Monday and Wednesday nights and stretch for 6 weeks. By the end of LTR you will be ready to decide on what path you want to take when it comes to rowing on the Genesee.
Description:Join naturalists and local historians for an enjoyable and educational row along the Genesee River. Trips will leave from The Port of Rochester. Please Park your vehicles at 1000 N River St, Rochester, NY 14612, you will then be shuttled to Seth Green Park for a one way canoe ride back to the Port of Rochester- total trip will last approximately two hours. Paddle trip is $20.00 per adult; $10.00 for youth under 18. Canoes will be provided by the Genesee Waterways Center. Maximum two adults per canoe. Join us for a 2 week course covering the basics of rowing. Learn technique, training fundamentals, and the dynamics of being river. Intro to rowing is the first stepping stone to discovering your full potential as a rower, athlete, and steward of the Genesee river.
