Become a Member

As a GWC member, you will be able to take advantage of all the courses and programs located at either the Genesee Valley Park Boathouse or at the Lock 32 White Water Park in Pittsford. Even better, $25 of your membership fee will be deducted from the cost of any one course taken in 2008. For example, if a sculler at the GWC location wanted to enroll in a white water kayaking program, $25 would be deducted from the cost of the course.

Additionally, as a GWC member you will benefit from free monthly instruction clinics from June through August.

Schedules will be posted when the dates are firm. We do value our members, and we are currently working on adding other benefits so we will keep you posted!

All memberships are based on a calendar year. Half year memberships for adults only will be available starting August 1st of each year.  To receive the discounted adult membership price, click "Sign Up" below, login, then enter the coupon code halfprice0801 at the bottom of the Customer Registration page; the discount will be taken when you checkout.

Guest Policy

Non-members who are guests of GWC members can use either facility under the following conditions:
  • Must sign the current waiver
  • Pay the temporary day use membership rate ($15)
  • Must be able to show sufficient skills for either white water kayaking or sculling at either location to a GWC certified instructor or Director.
Guests are limited to two (2) visits per season

Refund Policy

If you have paid your annual fees and circumstances arise that force you to leave the club, please discuss your situation with the Executive Director regarding reimbursement. After August 1, 2008, there will be no refund of any fee.
